QUEZON CITY – The Executive and Legislative Departments of the City Government of Cotabato conducted a benchmarking visit to the City Government of Quezon City on July 7, 2026, as part of its continuing efforts to strengthen local governance, enhance public service delivery, and adopt innovative programs and best practices. The delegation was composed of city officials led by Mayor Mohammad Ali “Bruce” Matabalao, Vice Mayor Johair Madag, members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, department heads, and key officials from the local government.

The benchmarking activity provided an opportunity for the Cotabato City delegation to learn from Quezon City’s successful governance initiatives, particularly in the areas of digital transformation, public administration, health services, disaster risk reduction and management, environmental sustainability, revenue generation, and citizen-centered programs. Through productive discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions, both local government units reaffirmed their commitment to fostering collaboration and promoting excellence in local governance.
