COTABATO CITY – Cotabato City Mayor Mohammad Ali “Bruce” Matabalao, together with Liga ng mga Barangay President Solayman Adtong, attended the National Government–Bangsamoro Government Convergence Program, led by President Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos Jr. and Bangsamoro Chief Minister Abdulraof A. Macacua.

During the program, 185 students from Cotabato City were awarded Presidential Scholarships as part of the National Government’s continuing commitment to expanding access to quality education and empowering the youth of the Bangsamoro region. The scholarship initiative reflects the government’s dedication to investing in the future of young Filipinos by providing educational opportunities that will help them achieve their academic and professional aspirations.

The convergence program serves as a platform for strengthened collaboration between the National Government and the Bangsamoro Government in delivering essential public services, development programs, and other assistance to communities across the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM). The event was attended by officials from both governments, local chief executives, representatives from various Bangsamoro ministries, offices, and agencies, as well as beneficiaries from different parts of the Bangsamoro region.
